In order to combat violence and ensure their political participation, women and girls who are living in poverty and exclusion need to be empowered.

Young people and communities that face poverty and exclusion should have access to just and democratic governance with an emphasis on gender responsive public services and the creation of jobs for young people.

Resilient livelihoods for those who live in poverty and marginalization should be a priority for women and their communities.
