Center for People Development
Center for People Development (C4PD) is a community-based organization (CBO) in Muhoroni Sub County in Kisumu County with a mission to empower and liberate communities for transformation.
C4PD works to build communities by supporting and aligning with the poor, the vulnerable, the disadvantaged and the oppressed in their struggle for justice, economic empowerment as well as their struggles to live healthy lives. C4PD’s origins were born from a well-meaning missionary approach and the organization has developed into a professional CBO. It has a strong track record of partnerships with local partner agencies. C4PD has been proactive in addressing long-term development needs focused on reducing poverty, hunger, malaria, HIV/AIDS, and gender-based discrimination.

Ms. Mary Achieng
Ms. Alaii, a seasoned Trainer of Trainers (TOT), has expertise in nutrition, family planning, HIV/AIDS, livelihoods, disaster risk reduction, WASH.

Dr. Peter Hayombe
Dr. Peter O. Hayombe serves as the Center board secretary, overseeing business and proposal development with a focus on growth and initiatives.
Nelly Apondi
Nelly Apondi has been Program Manager for the Adolescents and Young Women program at the Center since 2016. He’s a certified MHPSS Counsellor.
Peter Hagono
Peter Hagono has been the program manager for the Adolescents and Young Women program at the Center since 2016. He is a certified Counsellor (MHPSS).

Evans has dedicated his time to the Center for People Development, contributing as both a committed volunteer and a junior leader overseeing livelihoods and development

Chris, Head of Gender Programming at C4PD Kenya, specializes in gender mainstreaming, policy advocacy, reproductive rights, fundraising, and program management.
Lilian Atieno
She excels in creating effective fundraising initiatives, cultivating fresh partnerships, maintaining existing ones, reviving former collaborations.

1 Adolescent girls and young women's empowerment
The Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) is mechanism that was set up in 2020 by C4PD to strengthen the Sub County work in SRHR

We aim to improve learning outcomes for lower primary students (grades 1-4) by fostering art and play-based pedagogy, engaging communities, schools, and home-level actors for comprehensive educational enhancement.
